Seizure Alert Wear3 – MMW (My Medic Watch™) is an app designed for smartwatches running Wear OS 3+. It is compatible with Samsung Galaxy Watch 4-9, Google Pixel Watch 1-5 and other compatible Wear OS 3+ smartwatches.
The app requires both a compatible smartwatch AND a smartphone. (Standalone smartwatch version coming soon.)
Disclaimer: Seizure Alert Wear3 – MMW is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. The app is intended to detect movement patterns that may indicate a seizure-like event and provide alert notifications for assistance purposes only. It should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Users should consult a healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Seizure Alert Wear3 – MMW uses proprietary and patented detection algorithms to analyse movement data captured by compatible smartwatch sensors. When the app detects movement patterns that may indicate a seizure-like event, it can automatically trigger an alert and notify the wearer’s nominated caregivers.
During a detected seizure-like event, the app continuously collects heart rate measurements directly from the smartwatch. This data is securely transmitted to the My Medic Watch server and, depending on the subscription plan, can be viewed by the patient and authorised caregivers through the My Medic Watch portal.
My Medic Watch provides monthly and yearly subscriptions with a free trial.
We do not sell or provide smartwatches. Seizure Alert Wear3 – MMW is compatible with commercially available Wear OS 3+ smartwatches.

When movement patterns that may indicate a seizure-like event are detected, the app can automatically notify nominated caregivers and provide the wearer’s location. The wearer can also manually activate an alert by pressing a button on the smartwatch.
This process has four steps:
1. Smart Detection: The app analyses movement data from smartwatch sensors using its proprietary and patented detection algorithms.
2. Alert: When movement patterns that may indicate a seizure-like event are detected, the app can automatically notify nominated caregivers, including the wearer’s GPS location.
3. Caregiver Notifications: Nominated caregivers can receive updates about the alert and its progress.
4. Additional Data: Depending on the subscription plan, users may have access to episode data, including heart rate measurements collected during the detected event, and may choose to share this information with authorised caregivers.
Location data: The app collects location data to provide the wearer’s location to nominated caregivers.
