After years of using this app, I'm considering uninstalling. Uses 6% of my battery now, crazy when my screen only uses 10%! Why does mypermissions use 10GB of my WiFi connection? Also I really wish that it was possible to edit the filters/categories. For example, all the apps triggering "apps can read your inbox and contacts" that only request "phone state" are causing false alarm. There are many apps that appear in categories but use very minor permissions. It'd be great if I could choose which permissions are caught by each filter/category. I really don't care if an app needs my phone state o for example.
What's the purpose of this app? It does the same things one can do using the phone's settings app which is to view permissions and remove apps.
Could be better. $9.99 a year. Really?? I know its not that much. I would rather buy the program than pay an pay an pay. Smart but not so smart. Love the apps feel an action though... Graphics really good. Love to edit permissions individually. Guess that's on the pay version.
The app has been useful in detecting apps that have permissions that I don't want them to have, or that have expanded their permissions.
To bad there wasn't a way to contact an app publisher to ask why a particular permission is needed when it sometimes didn't seem necessary or appropriate
It works great with apps. But with social networks it's not great.
