My plan can be used for many of life's crises and filled in by the user himself, possibly with the help of relatives or professionals. It is optimal to fill in My Plan in advance so that it is ready when the crisis occurs.
Minplan has been developed in collaboration with researchers and suicide prevention agencies in Denmark and Norway. The method in Minplan is therefore the most common and used method within the psychiatric world.
An emergency plan is useful for people who suffer from depression, anxiety or self-harming behavior, but is also beneficial in other areas such as stress, physical illness and more.
Start by outlining your network and write down the strategies and action options you use when you are in crisis. It could be such as taking a shower, visiting a friend or taking a walk. Once your network and strategies are completed in My Plan, you can jot down symptoms of your crises and link them to your network and strategies. Once this has been done, you have thus drawn up your personal plans / options for action, which can be used if or when the crisis arises.
My plan also contains directions to the nearest psychiatric emergency rooms in Denmark and contact information for the Children's Telephone and the Lifeline.

Minplan can both be used preventively, so you can prepare if you have experience that crisis situations occur at certain times.
Or it can be used urgently if you are suddenly in the middle of a crisis. We hope you enjoy it.
