My brother's Lumia doesn't get mms My brothers Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8.1 doesn't recieve the MMS messages I send him. Google Hangouts and Samsung Messenger works fine. Also many times mysms doesn't produce a notification on incoming masseage so I often miss messages and don't know about them until I go to the home screen and see a number next to the mysms icon. I have been in contact with support but they couldn't make it work. Update! Hangout also doesn't produce a notification toaster so it is pherhaps my phone and its TouchWiz :-(
Fairly awesome Wish when you held down a message for "more info" it would tell you you more than the time it was sent. I have to switch to the stock app to see what numbers were in a group text or see other relevant info about the text. Unfortunately you have to submit your common sense ideas to a forum and get votes to change anything now. Which explains why the tablet app doesn't have the same pop-up as this one (reply, read, delete) Reactive and not proactive now it seems.
App needs work The sync service works great but the app itself needs work. Needed improvements include better emoji support, GIFs, sending audio, direct share support, and sending contacts as vcard. Even if direct support isn't added sharing should allow choosing an existing conversation rather than having to type the recipients info again. Also the location plugin needs to support more devices. It isn't compatible with my Nexus 6p.
Good but has issues sending if phone app isn't opened. Several updates and this is still an issue. I find that using stock messaging app my messages are sent near instantly, with mysms it'll hang or not send. Paid for this so I'd like to see this issue resolved before I look elsewhere for similar apps. Btw chrome browser extension is great but hangs as well when sending. Was better before recent update.
This is the best messaging app I've found, I have been using it for over 2 years now. You can send and receive messages on both your phone & your tablet. The best feature in my opinion is the ability to schedule text messages for a later time. The app will even "forward" calls to your tablet if you want!
Love the app!! The app does most everything I need or want! Definitely worth the $10 per year! Only complaint is that the SMS backup files dont display the characters correctly when it logs a different language (in my case, Russian). Perhaps some support for displaying more than just the latin alphabet in the log files?
* bugfix: Duplicate incoming messages in webapp
* bugfix for Google Fi users: wrong MMS date
