When a text comes, the notification sometimes doesn't show up in the notification bar at the top of my phone and will not show on the app icon at all. Usually when you look at the app icon, it shows a number if you have unread messages. I'll have unread messages but there's no notification attached to the app icon so I end up not finding out I have a new message until I just so happen to open the app and see it.
Great app and sync has much improved. Unfortunately though lately even after I've viewed all my new messages it has been leaving a persistent notification that I have new unread messages. Clicking on the notification just opens up mySMS and the notification still remains. The only way to get it to go way is by using "Clear All" on the notification shade I which of course then dismisses all my other needed notifications. Otherwise this would be a 5 star app.
Love the app and the backup features. Windows sync app to text from a desktop needs a little care. Functions but sometimes it feels like it's barely squeaking by. I'll hear a notification from my phone and check the app and need to manually refresh for it to appear. Pasting images would be great too but you can only paste text.
It functions exactly like I wanted... I can send texts from my computer when I'm in front of it, saving time compared to tapping away at my cell phone. I have no supernerd-like specialized requirements for the app, so two thumbs up.
Great app for texting from your PC. Highly recommended it. PROS: - Works well with Android - Allows you to text multiple people CONS - sometimes text messages get out of sync with your phone.. UPDATE: Actually you need to install the mobile app and use it as your default messaging app so the messages stay in sync between your PC and your mobile device
Used to be great - I used it within Franz. Now it won't allow me to continue logging in via Google on Franz after randomly booting me out. So I have to go get my phone and faff - NOT a time saver any more. What changed?
Bug fix: Google login didn't work on some devices
