First, your tax preparer needs to send you a link (through OLTPro software), when you click the link it allows you to create an account through a browser (I couldn't create my account through the APP, it won't validate). After you create your account, you can log in using this APP. I was able to remotely sign my documents using the browser alone, and upload pictures of my tax documents using the app with my phone camera. I could see this being useful and will give it 4 stars because I liked it but it could definitely be better. I could see a lot of taxpayers struggling with it if they're not too tech-savvy. I recommend just using a browser and a PC to log into My Tax Office, why install an app for a one time thing such as signing?

Very simple app and somewhat user friendly. Grammatical errors. Some drop-down fields don't input data the way a standard drop-down does, say for the state initials. Relies on tax preparers' instruction for initial setup, which can be a nusense for the user if they don't get the proper documentation right off and understand how to follow.

This is very confusing, because in order to log into my account I have to create an authentication code and I have to download the application to my phone and when I have everything, which has taken me more than 2 hours to achieve, I still can't get into the tax application. This is a huge waste of time and I don't like it. For a person like me who doesn't know much about technology, it's a huge annoyance and frustration. This is good for young people, but not for us old people
