Touch controls work great... ...if you remap fire to a hardware key like volume up. The game was difficult to control at first using the touchscreen until I mapped fire to the volume up key. This allowed me to move and aim with my thumbs while having my index finger reserved for taking shots. Game was 100x more playable after that. Anyway, great port. OpenArena never looked so sweet. Two thumbs and a trigger finger up.
Amazing! I never thought I would be able to play this on my nexus so impressed thanks so much to the DEV. I am struggling to get online play working using OpenArena I just get game mismatch but maybe I ill work it out. Thanks!
QIII4A Super great game surprised you can do so much. I have a small problem finding any online matches though other than that its one of the best game I've played hand down from the app store.
Falling out of my chair!! This port is soo ridiculously amazing! When I logged into a true multi player full blown quake match...I fell out my chair in aww! My kids thought I was hurt lol. Mad props to the dev and publisher on this perfect port of the best frag shooter ever. I was hesitant to drop $20 on Q3 from steam considering I've owned it years ago. But I'm glad I did. It beats any mobile fps out there to this day. I'm running a nexus 4 w/Psx ROM and Matr1x kernel. It looks and plays remarkabke ...and I'm picky. Thanks guys
I have a problem For multiplayer this game requires CD key, but there seems to be no way to enter letters in the game. What can I do ?
Great! This works like a charm. Fantastic job! The only problem I am having is with getting a mouse to work. Can it support a Bluetooth-connected mouse? My mouse device is /dev/input/mouse0, but even when I manually set that nothing happens (I can see the regular mouse cursor overlayed on the game but it is not captured and hence can't do anything). Does it require using a /dev/input/eventX device node instead?
Added ACCESS_SUPERUSER permission because some authors of Superuser apps think that it is clever to ask root permissions twice (but I think that it is the most stupid idea I've ever heard).
Replaced one-time donate notification with bottom offline ad: 4 (for each port) one-time notifications are quite annoying.
A bit more friendly to users that don't read the description.
Updated engine and GCC used to build it.
