Classic game held back by sub-optimal controls, lag, and too many ads. Tetris is arguably one of the best puzzle games, and if you're looking to get a quick fix then this app is worth it. However, it can be endlessly frustrating when you feel like you're fighting against the controls. Also, when the game gets faster and faster, every moment of lag becomes insanely noticeable, and can ruin a solid run. I've had it happen several times, and it really spoils the experience.

I really dislike this version of Tetris. The gameplay is alright but not great. There's definitely adjustments that need to be made, like adding a "Next" section in the levels (it's there in Marathon but not the levels, why??). My main gripe is the huge amount of ads. Between every level, at every button press, there's a long loading screen followed by a long ad. Additionally, the new update wiped *all* of my data, so I'm a little annoyed about that as well. Do not recommend :(

I almost never review but I felt it was worth sharing. The ads appear in such a way that they cannot be closed easily without accidentally downloading advertised app. I do not like the way the game plays either. It stops you in between levels and the difficulty of the levels don't seem to change after a certain point. I paid for ad free but it hardly improved the experience. Super disappointing because I loved original and Tetris Worlds.
