I've been using the Nature Counts App since 2021 for the Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas. There have been hiccups along the way as the kinks got worked out, but I used the android version consistently in 2022 and now in 2023 with no problems. Latest additions (timer, safe dates, ability to make map adjustments) take even more work out of the data collection process. It's an easy app to use, it tells me all the information I need to collect data. I use it in airplane mode when cell service is limited

I call it the "please wait" app. It's dreadfully slow. Initially there were so many bugs that it was virtually unusable. They're finally fixing the many problems when the Ontario Bird Atlas project is wrapping up. They could have used eBird but thought it was better to reinvent the wheel instead.

The new updates are great! Glad to have safe dates available directly in the app, and better synching with eBird locations. Easy to use overall.
