About this app

naturGPS is your ultimate hybrid mobile application for outdoor exploration, meticulously crafted with Angular, Ionic, and Capacitor. Tailored for Android, it delivers a powerful GPS and mapping experience specifically designed for nature and route tracking.

Key Features:

- Advanced GPS Tracking: Benefit from highly accurate geolocation, featuring a reliable fallback system and rapid 5-second updates. Visualize your position with a reactive blue dot marker and an accuracy circle. Engage "Tracking Mode" for automatic map centering, which intelligently pauses if you manually explore the map. Enjoy seamless background recording, ensuring your adventures are fully captured even with the screen off, all powered by a persistent foreground service.

- Dynamic Map Exploration: Navigate using three interactive Leaflet map layers: Street, Topographic, and high-resolution Satellite. Easily switch between them with translated controls and reference a dynamic scale bar in metric or imperial units. Your last selected map layer is remembered for convenience.

- Real-time Track Recording: Activate recording with a dedicated button that dynamically signals its status (Green for ready), Red for active.
