Doesn't work on samsung s6 edge Blank screen, no display. Tried new go free link, same result. Disappointing as it was one of the reasons I bought the Gen 3 HDS rather than the cheaper gen2. Hope I haven't wasted my money!
Won't stay connected Not sure if it's app or connection .....panisonic fza1 tablet .....won't stay connected to WiFi keeps loosing WiFi from hds gen 3 and sometimes won't let me reconnect let it set there it will find and reconnect does this on Galaxy tab 4 also......sometimes app stops and goes back to connection screen
Can only be used to view/control whats shown on the plotter itself (repeater?). Would be nice if the app could view/control independently so you could have different full size sonar/map/sidescan/radar pages on the moble device and the plotter. I don't see a use for this app as it is.
Only useful as a screen viewer on cellphones Can only view screen from app when using cell phone. Cannot change between screens, or adjust sonar settings from app. Useful as a viewer and even then I have to be connected to my home wifi network. Will not connect away from wifi. Perhaps Lowrance only needs to provide more in-depth directions, but it's hard to say what is needed from a user standpoint.
Great App. The app works well with my HDS-9 Gen3 on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. The problem is the screen times out on the tablet and you have to start over. Navico should change the software controls so that the screen stays on just like when using Google Maps for navigation.
galaxy tab s 10.5 Just got new tab s 10.5 and app does not display new lowrance gen3 hds12 or 7 on screen. IPad gen 3 works great. Tab S connects and controls only menu driven. Too bad the Tab S android doesn't work cause screen and feel of Samsung tab s is quicker.
