-The app navigates you from your preferred point of departure to your destination.

-Search directly from a zoomable interactive map of the Tokyo area.
-Allows you to save up to 50 recently searched routes. You can also see them while offline.

Ratings and reviews

One of the recent updates now doesnt let you view the train stops in between switch points or the end destination unless you pay for a subsription. This is quite disappointing considering I can just load up google maps and view the stops inbetween as before. I personally liked the Japan Travel app's interface more than google maps until now.. but now i suppose its time to switch apps. If you want to gain some subscribers.. it would be better to add new functionality/features instead.

Very useful app when travelling in Japan back in June. HOWEVER, recent update requires buying premium plan to view the individual train stations of the route....dont think its worth to pay for that premium plan as its not worth it if only using it for a while

I used to love this app. I've used this when traveling and now living in Japan. However, the app is now requiring an expensive paid subscription (15k yen/1 year) to use the full station list feature. This was not the case before. I really dont need other features of the subscription, so I honestly think it would be a waste of money. Disappointing.
