Great app! Notifications can be a bit much, but the weather functions make it all the more worth it. No real flaws or drawbacks. The perfect app for those of us that live in CT!
I love the format of this app very easy to use. Most of all the weather radar map which you can use to track a storm. I love the updates for weather and breaking stories. Best way to stay informed is from NBC 30..

NBC Connecticut has the most accurate weather forecasts. Their news reports cover the entire state. I get alerts on my tablet which is great, I know when something thing important is happening. Thanks for great information and a great app.

It's great. Always gives me a live update on what's going on in the world and the weather if storms are headed my way or not. Have the weather right on home screen all day long.

Check it every morning when I wake up. Agree with another review that the breaking news isn't always all that important but I just clear it and move on. Weather updates are great and dependable.

Love the app but it always shuts down and I have to restart it all the time. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. Gets annoying

Thomas, thank you for the feedback. We really try to only send things out that are true alerts as notifications. We want to be respectful of the fact that this goes right to people's phones. Glad you are finding the First Alert Weather features useful. I love the format of this app very easy to use. Most of all the weather radar map which you can use to track a storm. I am a Ct native now living in NC. However I like to keep up with what's happening in Ct. I love NBC Ct . I grew up watching Gerry Brooks, Brad Fields and Joanne Nesti. Now with this app I can keep up with my favorite CT newscast. I love it!!!
Great app. I recently moved from Connecticut and allows me to keep up with things happening there.
The latest update is a disappointment. I do not want to constantly have to see the temperature on my start screen and there seems to be no way to disable it. Uninstalling.
I think that this is the best app ever since I downloaded it because I can read about the news and get the weather information all at the same time!

I love being able to check the weather for the day to know how to dress my kids in the morning also getting the breaking news reports is great thanks nbc ur the only news station i watch

Pat, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are aware of an issue with the app crashing and our team is working very hard to correct that. We hope you'll give us another chance. I've been watching NBC for years. The app is easy to use and like the notification alerts during the day. For me it's most accurate for weather predictions too. Love it!
Reliable and current weather information. Good news coverage but more focus on the Greater Hartford area than Southwest CT.
Live TV giving error message. Just installed then signed in but no go.
NBC Connecticut news gives up to date news and weather, when I need it..
Love watching the radar for those late afternoon thunderstorms.
Love the weather format, especially the real-time radar. Good news coverage as well.
