Ha ha On the free version you are limiting the maximum resolution to 3.2 mp? No touch to focus and a lot of ads? So do I have to guess how the payed version will work? Adds were enough to convince me to buy it if really like it. You really don't know how to promote a product. 1 star from me.
Nice camera - way too slow This camera app has a nice interface. However, it's EXTREMELY slow. Using the Galaxy S5, you click to take a picture and it takes about 2-3 seconds for it to actually take the picture. So you have to click it, and make sure not to move thinking you snapped the picture. This is with no funky modes being used or anything. My final straw was I was taking a picture in an area with low lighting (not too dark) I turned on the flash. Clicked the screen to focus, flash comes on to focus, looks good. Click to take the picture, flash flashes then picture is taken. Picture is completely black. Taking a picture in low light with this app compared to S5 camera, the picture in ProCapture Also, no pinch to zoom. How do you zoom if you don't have zoom set to volume buttons? Anyways, went back to S5 default camera.
Great app, oh yea I have question I love this camera app, especially the Panorama Mode who can make very good panorama, but the 3.2MP resolution limit gonna be a little bit 'annoying' for my 8MP Galaxy Note II camera... I want the pro version with maximum camera resolution support, but whether the maximum resolution is also supported on panorama mode? I just want to know before I buy the app... :)
Much better This is better than a lot of other camera apps. The speed of opening, is faster than all the others I've used. For those of you that you think it's slow, there's something wrong with your phone. I can get it to take faster, better pics, on ancient hardware, than any other app that I've used on them. Phones, sometimes have hardware problems, or rom problems. If a phone, with limited ram, over 3 years old, can take less than two seconds to load the app, imagine what it'll do on current ones.
TOO SLOW! Some important controls are hidden like focus, front and video camera. Too slow with annoying ads on the screen! Not worth to get the paid app with same UI and slow camera!
Runs hot... After playing with the app for less than 5 mins the area around my camera lens got very warm. Not all camera apps do this. But to me heat = less battery life. Nexus 5.
