Now there’s a more intelligent way to clean your floors. With the Neato app and a Neato Botvac Connected series robot, you can control home cleaning from anywhere:

Love my D7, have had it for years, but the app is abandoned. No updates since July 17, 2019. It really needs help, always screaming that it's stuck, but it is not. Open the app to find that it's some other issue like the dust bin is full. Different reports are necessary so you can tell someone at home what to do. Duplicate notices for every notification, a bright white screen with no dark theme option. The device is great, until you have to maintain it. Sidebrush belt? 2 hours. Wheel? 4 hours.

This app makes getting a Neato not worth it. The amount of times my robot gets forgotten or stops working is unreal. It's gotten to the point to where I don't use it because I'm tired of having to set it up again. When it does work correctly, it's great. But between the app disconnecting me all the time and the robot itself needing multiple repairs, I'm done with it.

Frustrating software It will almost never navigate the entire floor. It will almost never create the complete initial map, and therefore will not properly clean. For each of my 30 attempts to create a map, it never explorers the full boundaries. Of my 4 rooms on the main floor, maybe it will explore 1 or 2. Software is the biggest liability, and nothing is more frustrating that spending 1 week to get an initial map. Heaven forbit that you move a chair!
