I was pretty sure I would like this game, as I enjoy fighting games where I have a lot of control over whether or not my character wins. The music is great; every new Tournament, Boss fight, Survival, and Challenge has new music. It must have taken months to come up with it all! I like that the NPCs are well fleshed out too. When the girl May asked Shadow to give her his sword so she could go kill Butcher herself, I cracked up...

The game, in and of itself, is good; good music, decent story, good visuals, and good combat. HOWEVER, Duels should be allowed to be offline. An ad plays every time a fight is over. The app shoves microtransactions at you. DO NOT BUY THE SPECIAL EDITION, IT DOESN'T HAVE ECLIPSE MODE! To prevent ads, turn off Wi-Fi and mobile data. Also, play the Definitive Edition Mod; it's a much better experience.

can't help but notice that most of the good reviews are from years back, this game is pretty trash. Constant pop ups for me to buy something with money, and the energy system is horrible. Ads are also everywhere, after every fight. Also, the hitboxes are absolutely horrible. Weapon goes THROUGH the enemy, and nothing happens. but when the enemies weapon doesn't even come in contact with me, I get dealt damage. You also have to upgrade your gear each fight to stand a chance against the hitboxes.
