The neolexon app offers children with pronunciation disorders from 3 years old up to primary school age a varied opportunity to practice correct pronunciation.
The motivating digital training can be used as a supplement to regular speech therapy at home or can be used directly in the speech therapy session together with the therapist. With the playfully designed app, practicing is now a lot of fun!

✅ Individually configurable: Therapists can freely select specific sounds and sound combinations to adapt the app to the child's needs. This means that every phonological process and every phonetic disorder can be treated precisely.

✅ An extensive inventory of words: With over 860 child-friendly words and 1,500 nonsense words/syllables, the app covers the entire phonetic inventory of German.

✅ Five training modules: The modules include exercises from perception to production. Exercises are available for the auditory identification of sounds and their position in the word as well as for sound production (initial, medial and final) at the word, sentence and text level. The exercises can be paused at any time.

✅ Adventure Book: The words and stories produced are saved in the app's Adventure Book so that the therapist can review them and provide feedback in the next therapy session.

Five different modules:

1) Library Module - Identifying sounds at syllable/word level: A magical library urgently needs to be cleaned up. Lots of sheets with different things on them are flying around and need to be sorted. The magic book only likes syllables or words that contain a certain sound (e.g. /s/ in cup).

2) Cable car module - identify sound position at syllable/word level: Lino has to put the cable car correctly so that it can deliver to the hut on the mountain. To do this, sounds in the syllable/word must be heard correctly and the packages then sorted.

3) Parrot module - sound production at the syllable/word level: The parrot Kiki can learn to speak by the child saying many syllables/words to him and him parroting them back. The speech therapist can then check whether the child has spoken and recorded everything correctly.

4) Camera module - sound identification and production: The child should use their device camera to photograph things in their everyday life that contain a certain sound, then speak and record them. All recordings are saved in the adventure book and can then be listened to and evaluated by the speech therapist.

5) Grandfather module - sound production at sentence/text level: On his travels, Lino took a lot of photos and tells his grandfather little nonsense stories about them, which are saved in the adventure book. Between two and five images can be displayed, all containing the target sound.
