Samsung s4 Have been using this app on my desire c for a year with no problems. Just recently I upgraded to a Samsung galaxy s4 . Now when I open neon geo maps the icons are so small I have trouble seeing them. The online maps take longer to download too. Also the zoom buttons and the move to your location buttons are too small to use. I would like to give five stars but can no longer use the app please help.emailed devs but no reply ????
Loved this app but please update! Allow me to join the chorus of people who, thanks to KitKat, can't use this awesome app. Works great in Jelly Bean, but thanks to the fine folks at Google Android, no more menu button renders the app useless. PLEASE development folks, give us a menu opening option!
Better than the official app It appears Neongeo has been abandoned by the developers. Their website is only a front page now (wiki and forums are dead links). The app has not been updated since 2013. I have emailed the developers. If they respond, I'll update this review.
Nice but falling by the caching wayside I have used this for a long long time and have now had to give up on it as there seems to be no devlopment. Constant network communicatin error messages with no drop in phone signal and more recently found that active caches were not showing on the live update map or cache list. Sorry but time to let go of this one and revert back to Cachesense. Perhaps the developer could re-invest some time and bring this app back up to its former glory?
Works well. I was annoyed by the lack of soft menu button until I realized a long press on the back button is equivalent to the old hard menu key. Hasn't been updated for high res screens but still one of the more intuitive geocaching apps.
Needs an update. I have used this app for a couple of years now with little to no problems on an HTC One X phone. Recently switched to a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and now the menu tab for logging, setting target, etc. is gone! Seems an easy fix but developer is missing in action. Too bad...nice app other wise. Guess I need to go with c:geo.
