Needs an update. I have used this app for a couple of years now with little to no problems on an HTC One X phone. Recently switched to a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and now the menu tab for logging, setting target, etc. is gone! Seems an easy fix but developer is missing in action. Too bad...nice app other wise. Guess I need to go with c:geo.

Nice but falling by the caching wayside I have used this for a long long time and have now had to give up on it as there seems to be no devlopment. Constant network communicatin error messages with no drop in phone signal and more recently found that active caches were not showing on the live update map or cache list. Sorry but time to let go of this one and revert back to Cachesense. Perhaps the developer could re-invest some time and bring this app back up to its former glory?

On new Galaxy S5 all map icons way too small I'm a long time neongeo user, an awesome app! Just hit new Galaxy S5 and all the icons on the map are extremely tiny, like 5 pt text size. Such as symbols (+, -) for map zoom, cache icons, refresh caches on map icon. They are soo tiny it's almost unusable. Please help me out, any suggestions?

Del Boy Orkney I have used this app for many years as I do most of my caching in areas where there is no 3G coverage so rely heavily on loading my pocket queries to build up my data base of caches when I have Wi-Fi access. However the compass started to become erratic and then my location was showing up as south of Africa. I recently had to reset my phone and discovered that my location is working a it should. The target cache looks like it is working again although I haven't used it yet. Very pleased it is working again.

Easy to use, good looking, good value Basic features are intuitive, advanced features powerful. Looks excellent and feels very polished. Good value for money and a complete paperless and GPS-less geocaching solution for android.

Used to be good. Now looks abandoned and support is non-existent. This used to be the best geocaching app, but it appears that CacheSense has taken the lead in features. Sadly, Neongeo seems to have been abandoned. It crashes frequently under Android 4.4 and the developer has not responded to my email. Also, the forums section of the Neongeo website has been down for months. Best to avoid this one until the developer is active again. Previous Review: On Android, Neongeo is far better than the official Groundspeak geocaching app in terms of features and performance. Unfortunately, I cannot give it a 5-star rating because there still are some glitches, including an annoying one where the database selection occasionally does not stick. Also, the app still does not display log coordinates. The author has not updated the app in quite a long time.

Ok app with no updates in years So said this started out a great app but is very outdated now with no updates in years.
The best - but appears to be abandoned I own and have tried most of the other geocaching Apps. This is far and away my favorite, and the one I use almost exclusively.
Samsung s4 Have been using this app on my desire c for a year with no problems. Just recently I upgraded to a Samsung galaxy s4 . Now when I open neon geo maps the icons are so small I have trouble seeing them. The online maps take longer to download too. Also the zoom buttons and the move to your location buttons are too small to use. I would like to give five stars but can no longer use the app please help.emailed devs but no reply ????
Fantastic Great app, dev is very responsive, can hardly keep up with all the updates. Knocked a couple of stars off as the buttons and cache icons are barely visible on my HTC one. Please update.
Allan I've used this app for nearly two years with my droid razzr max - we have found 600+ with only this app - upgraded phone to Note 3 and now the map looks tiny. Loved this app - just downloaded the "official" app and I'm not near as impressed -please work on this app to be more compatible with the new phones. Giving it a 4 - change to 5 if it starts working better on my note!
Used to be 5 stars. Now unusable because there is not a menu button for the features on my new Galaxy s5 phone.
Desperately needs a "track up" option, but otherwise still a very good app.
