About this app

Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) was created on August 16, 1985 (Bhadra 1, 2042) under the Nepal Electricity Authority Act. 1984, through the merger of the Department of Electricity of Ministry of Water Resources, Nepal Electricity Corporation and related Development Boards.

The primary objective of NEA is to generate, transmit and distribute adequate, reliable and affordable power by planning, constructing, operating and maintaining all generation, transmission and distribution facilities in Nepal's power system both interconnected and isolated.

With this NEA Customer App, customer would be able to manage their meters and billings.

Ratings and reviews

This app had been working very well abroad for the past 5–6 years. Through the app, we could pay our electricity bills and even view a full year’s payment history. But nowadays, it doesn’t open when we are overseas. Why is that? Have you implemented a system that no longer works outside the country? It would be very helpful for us if you could update and modify the app so that it can run abroad easily, just like before. Thank you!

It's not even loading up now. The load icon keeps on circling when trying to open the app. Bill doesn't show up in times. We get physical bills at the start of the month in home and expect it to show up in the application as well. Not after 15 days!!! What's the point of it then?

Photos larger than 2MB are not supported. Nowadays, most phones take high-resolution photos, so it's normal for photos to be larger than 2MB. While there's an option to select a photo from the gallery, your app doesn't have permission to access my gallery. Please add gallery access permission or support high-resolution photos in your app.
