Football vs Soccer is arcade football the way the 16-bit classics did it. No card packs, no stamina bars, no menus inside menus. Pick a nation, kick off, score.

Matches are short and quick on purpose. The ball zips around, keepers fling themselves at shots they have no right to reach, and a two-minute game can still finish 4-3. If you grew up on fast top-down football games, this will feel like coming home. If you didn't, you'll learn it in about thirty seconds.

The controls are one stick and two buttons. Tap pass to find the man you're running toward, or hold it to lift a long ball over the defence for a runner to chase. Hold shoot to power up and pick your corner, or chip a keeper who's wandered off his line. When a lofted ball drops at head height, the same button glances it goalward. Defending is a tap for a standing tackle or a longer press to go to ground with a slide.

Your keeper looks after himself. He positions, dives, catches and spills rebounds on his own, and only hands you control when the ball is safely in his hands for the kick out.
