To use the DumaOS app, your router must be running DumaOS 3.0 or later. Telstra customers can also use this app if they have Telstra Internet Optimiser.

Ratings and reviews

Terrible. Doesn't work at all. You can connect but can't do anything. They can't even get the speed test to work... You would think this would be embarrassing enough to get them to fix it but nope. I would never buy another duma os related product again. Constant bugs and updates that take years, only to end up here. Uninstall simulator

App looks great, the hardware is mediocre at best. Incomplete firmware with product purchase and unacceptably slow firmware updates. But the app works as intended whenever the firmware is stable enough to communicate with it. The dumaOS color red is nice on the icon too, very bright. Oh and the app only works with the XR500 and XR1000, sorry XR700 peeps, you are still out of luck even with the beta firmware.

The app crashes every time I open it. I'm not surprised considering how terrible the DUMAOS/Netgear routers are. Before a random person chimes in asking for me to open a support case, I won't because your router support had been abysmal and won't be any better with this.
