I deleted this app about 2 weeks ago because it was sucking up all my battery in less than half a day (whether I opened the app or not) after an update about a week before that. I reinstalled it when I saw my review was listed as "for an older version," hoping they'd fixed it. They haven't. I don't understand how a month ago it wasn't taking any battery power unless I was actively using the app, but now it's draining my battery all the time.
Having serious issues using Netflix on my hudl2 tablet, the last two versions wouldn't launch unless I went into the apps settings and cleared data. This new version is now completely useless to me, clearing the data no longer allows me to launch the app nor does uninstalling and reinstalling. This has been an issue for weeks now and I was getting by before but now I can't use it at all. Last year I cancelled my cable TV subscription because I use Netflix so would appreciate it being fixed before I am forced to take my business elsewhere!
I love netflix and use it regularly. The app works well for me on my S8 and on my Xbox one. One suggestion is. If you have a movie that has a sequel put them all on. Same with a tv series put all the seasons on. Bit annoying opening up a tv series and its for example season 4 to 6 it should be 1 to 6! With that said the library is always improving. Sometimes its annoying when something is removed though.
I've subscribed to Netflix for years and have always been a fan but after the latest updates I can't even open up the app because it keeps crashing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting my tablet etc but still it won't work. Very disappointing considering its not free. Please sort it out urgently before I cancel my subscription completely.
I love Netflix and it is amazing. The one show I would love for you guys to add back on there is Good Luck Charlie. You have the movies oe movie to it so why not add the show. You should also add full house. There are also many times where it kjsut kicks me out if Netflix randomly and I have to sign back in. It normally kicks me out when I try to play a show and it does not work. Overall I love Netflix and I love using it.
When Chromecasting with versions 5.15, 5.14 or 5.13 from a Nexus 5, CPU usage is extremely high resulting in overheating and massive battery drain. This bug does not occur in versions 5.12 and earlier. I'm not the only one reporting this issue. How long before you fix this?
