Incredible ! In the past I had this app & it was crap. Took for ever to load,& it would pause to buffer. It sucked! But I thought I would give it another shot. Now it is outstanding! It takes a moment to load but it doesn't buffer every minute. If you have tried it in the past & wasn't satisfied. I guarantee you will be happy with the new improvements. If you have never tried it. You should!! Great job netflix, just my only concern is to please update the tv programs to 2012... Please!
netflix always works on my tv and laptop, has a giant selection of tv shows that i adore, but it doesn't work on my mobile devices. a year or two ago i had a cheap starter phone and attempted to work netflix on it, to no avail. it froze whenever i tried to play a show. recently i received a new phone for the holidays, and i was excited, because i could finally have netflix in a portable state, meaning i could carry it in my pockets or bag. but no- it does the same exact thing. freezes and gives me a typical error message. if someone could help me work this out, it'd be highly appreciated!
Problems with app while streaming. When a show is streaming, the controls disappear most of the time and have to use the controls from the notification bar because the apps' controls won't work even though they are there. Some bugs still need to be worked out. At least there aren't anymore problems like before when it was almost impossible to sync with Chromecast, now that happens once in awhile instead of 90% of the time.
You've made the app incompatible with Android boxes so now I can't update easily. How does that move retain me as a paying customer? It was bad enough that I only could get SD but I still paid... Guess I'll see if you change your minds by the end of this bill period...
For anyone who has had trouble using this app on an Android. Try to 'Clear Data' and it should work. I've had the same issues since yesterday and just right now I tried it and it worked once I cleared the data. Don't know what was the issue, but it was obnoxious getting the "Can't connect to server, try later (-373)".
The last update prevents my use on Nexus which I used a lot. Not usable=bad app. No excuse for this. If you know it won't work, why can't you tell that before updating and rendering it useless? Also, it takes a long time to connect to the site. Fix the site traffic problems.
Latest update from Google Play Store to non-rooted Google Nexus 10 does not work. Error message says the version is not compatible on my device. Netflix' help solution is to download apk directly from Netflix. No response after multiple emails to Dev team. Glad Amazon Video is adding content and allows downloads. May be time to axe Netflix since they can't fix problems or respond to thousands of similar user problems.
