Products works great. It would be nice too if in the schedule there is an option to choose which camera will be armed and some to not to be armed. For my application, I have three cameras but on the selected schedule I want only two of the three cameras to be armed. Right now my only option is to either manually turn that one camera off or lower the sensitivity. Please include this in future firmware release if all possible. Another cool feature to have is the ability to override the phone notifications setting on the arlo app to have it ring the notifications sound even when the phone is in silent or vibrate mode. Specially at night, I put my phone to vibrate mode because I don't want the message or social apps to disturb me but I still want Arlo app to make sound notifications regardless.
When I get a motion notification and attempt to open app, I'm greeted with a white screen and my phone hangs. Talked to support and was told to disable LTE on my phone as a fix. Told them I was not willing to do that. Support was kinda rude about the situation and would not tell me if they were working on a fix after asking several times. The product is what I was looking for, so I hope they fix this promptly.
Update to update: It's working again. I didn't touch the app, but it automagically started working again. Update: for absolutely no reason, my mobile app has decided it no longer recognizes my system. This app is garbage. It's an ok app. But my issue is when there's a notification, sometimes I have to re-enter my password. Isn't the point of a notification to quickly open the app to see what's happening? There are some other goofy things about the app too, but this is the biggest pain.
Updating my review. After the "bug fixes" it's even worse. Now I can't even log in and view cameras, I get an error "recover token failed". Lovely. Bleh. This app is terrible. Makes me log in like 3 times, multiple error messages, freezes my phone. It's almost as bad as my cameras that we've done two RMAs on so far and they're still acting up. Do not recommend this app or camera system at all
The app works as advertised with a few network hiccups. Please for the love of all that is holy use the local network if it's available! Round trip to the Arlo servers adds 4-10 seconds of lag which is really bad if you're using a camera as a baby camera
The app does not work well Even after the latest update still has problems. keeps hanging between modes arm and disarm. I wish Netgear would put more effort into fixing this app. Using s7 edge version 7.0 .
