About this app

nonu stands for "no numbers," and the name says it all: It teaches time using color segments and photos from one's own experience. Based on the TEACCH® approach, nonu teaches time without requiring any numerical or temporal competence and promotes autonomy and orientation (e.g., for children with autism, ADHD, FAS, or dementia) or for children in daycare or school.

Thus, everything from the three-minute toothbrushing routine to the entire daily routine in a school or a residential group home can be represented and structured with nonu. The sequence is represented in a circle, similar to a normal clock face, making it easily accessible and intuitively clear. A cycle always starts at the top center (at "12 o'clock") and can last seconds, minutes, or hours, as needed.

After downloading the "Clock Without Numbers," the first provided structures are ready for use within 5 minutes. The app also explains how to use the app, and nothing stands in the way of creating your first own structure. So, it doesn't take long to get used to the intuitive operation of nonu!

The customization of each "Clock Without Numbers" doesn't prevent it from being used in many different situations. nonu can be used with any structures for all environments.

Visualize time on all devices:
nonu already works on smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs, allowing you to display processes in any environment.

The app can be tested free of charge for testing purposes. After the trial period, a small monthly fee is due, which allows us to cover the operation and maintenance of the app. Purchasing a subscription unlocks all nonu Basic features (see below).
