Stand out player This player is in a class by itself. The nearest I've seen that comes close is the HF Onkyo player.
This is the only app I have used that offers a parametric equalizer. This can make your music sound immensely better without the need of upgrading your speakers, making this more than worth the purchase. The only improvement I can suggest is to make a smoother UI, similar to that of Poweramp. It feels slightly unresponsive sometimes. I'd take audio quality over UI any day, but if this is improved it would make this app a lot better. Also, please reduce the time needed for a long press to be detected. It makes adding songs to the queue take much longer than it should. Maybe add a checkbox to the left of each song as a means of multi select and then make the +queue button in the top panel add those files to the current queue. Also, PLEASE let us bind an eq preset to individual songs!
Great music player the best in sound quality but you should really add Hi-Res output (In my case it's Samsung UHQA PCM) through the headphone aux instead of AudioTrack or OpenSL ES that downgrades music to 48khz other than that great music player
Can I get the OldTron? Should put less efort into crossfeed and more into basic concepts like the app actually working after having been a paid customer for years. I can't even use it, it tells me my trial period is expired and shuts down. Completely useless, after years. Unforgivable. Even when it worked there were times you just couldn't shut it off. Very annoying playlist mechanism. Etc etc, who cares if it won't even work..? Stole my money, plain and simple, and the "support" is a joke. Clowns.
Excellent Sound, Versatile - Very Active Development DSD over PCM? Just...wow. Shaped dither? Now we need a saved output option! Wonderful EQ - not like others, sophisticated "surround", crossfade channels (make L&R share sound so things like some Beatles tracks work much better in headphones), extremely good downsampling for overly-high-definition tracks, advanced connectivity options, digital volume boost (if needed), replay gain, external DAC support...but mostly, it sounds great - subjectively better. The more you use it, the more you'll like it.
Bit-excellent-sound!!!! Amazed by the clarity and excellence of the sound. Doesn't matter if using it with headphones or by connecting the Smartphone via Bluetooth to a big amp: not even my Panasonic BDT700 can produce such sound quality. The UI is fine and does the job. Tested PowerAmp but the sound quality and library handling here is much, much better. The app gets good updates like better support for DACs and FTP access. By theway.....where is my Linux, Win or Mac OS Version?!?!??!?!!? I would pay up to 35 USD!!!!
* DSD over PCM (DoP) support (DSF, DFF file formats).
* DXD support (AH option).
* HQ DSD64+ decoding (requires fast CPU).
* Noise-shaped Dither (optional).
* NEON64 optimized output in 64-bit mode.
- library performance;
- USB DAC compatibility.
* UI -> Progress Timer option.
- playback not responsive if FLAC 16-bit used as transport format for UPnP/DLNA output (Output To);
- duplicate tracks and 0 duration if CUE file points to non-existing file (ignore such CUE).
3in1 music app: MP3 Player - Equalizer - Bass Booster. The best Music Volume EQ
