Easy to use, drains battery when posts are left unread Well done user interface. No functional bugs that I have encountered. Just don't ignore and leave unread any new posts. Doing so for me seems to drain my HD Maxx battery by about a percent a minute! I leave my phone on vibrate for movies, and have had a dead battery if I had a new post to read near the start of the movie.
Does the job, just. Updates RSS feeds and displays them no problem but there are no real options to sort/search. It has the ability to store the feeds forever and has the ability to backup your feeds but not the feed contents. Also annoyed I have to click back twice to exit an article and have to confirm to exit. These 3 issues mean there are better apps available.
Almost Perfect This app is almost exactly the type of RSS feed reader I was looking for. I say "almost" because I don't like the way the entries are laid out. The heading is not visible to read entirely unless you wait for it to scroll across the top of the screen, and there is not enough information displayed when reading through entries, such as the number of unread articles. Very simple and light for everything else though.
Great RSS Reader • This RSS reader will import and export your feeds in opml format. That allows you to write your own code for feeds based off of xml. • There are no cloud-based accounts to log into, which means you are not prone to having a large corporation pull the plug on this. • It is almost as easy to use as Google Reader, however it doesn't categorize your feeds.
I dont get it.. When I want to share an article on Twitter, the reader does not display the name of the article but just puts "Link to new" + link and after that fills it with the following "Sent through Android app for RSS Feed reading available by:+link to store" So, whats the use of it?
Doesn't update I added a couple of blogs to it the day I downloaded it and since then it hasn't updated any feeds even though those bloggers have added several new posts since then. Checked my settings, and even had my computer geek hubby take a look. After messing with it for awhile to get it to update, his recommendation was to uninstall and get a different app.
