NewsBlur is a personal news reader bringing people together to talk about the world. Share stories, read your feed subscriptions, and talk to like minded people with this free service. A new sound of an old instrument.

Log in doesn't work on my phone anymore. Only on my laptop. I've deleted and reinstalled. So depressing not a single rss app out there works nicely. /// Old edit: I'm trying to like this app but when it keeps telling me there's no stories and I have at minimum, 20 news feeds loaded, it's hard. It's an inconsistent reading experience. It either works or doesn't. I don't understand the story loading glitches. Would also like to pay month to month as an option instead of three months or 12.

There's no way to manage an account in the app, related sites suggestions are quite poor, previewing sources doesn't work and a very important feature that's missing is the integration with Google Translate at least.

As of the latest update, it is no longer crashing when reading stories, but it is jumping to new stories when I return to the app.

What’s new

NewsBlur 14.4.0 adds a premium app icon chooser in Preferences, with 12 custom NewsBlur icons and light/dark previews.

This release also fixes reader restore after marking stories as read and rotating the device, and improves feedback reports so support requests include fresher logs.
