Appaling app. Autoplaying videos that you can't prevent, embedded graphics filling the page preventing further scrolling, lousy comments section, images that cannot be enlarged other than to the centre of the image....PLEASE get your act together. I gave up, uninstalled it and used c Chrome but now have to put up with URL errors as the app is not installed!!!!

You pay a lot of money for subscription with early access to podcasts, but the podcasts don't auto play the next, the layout feels like it is the first attempt, there is no link to Android auto, it does not restart where you left off. For news articles you can't get notifications for key words you might be interested in - just categories- and these are so broad and so frequent I don't read any of them. it's 2026 - do better 'The Australian '.

I liked the app, reading the Australian every day on my S24phone and Samsung pad. then I was asked to upgrade and suddenly the phone cannot open the app as I am being asked to subscribe and I have spent 3 days trying to fix it. My subscription is up to date and my pad works OK. I am not happy.
