This is the best news app I've ever used. I'm confident in saying this is the only app I've ever rated five stars. It shows the full live newscast for your local News and it also has the broadcast from earlier in the day which is great if can't always catch the live broadcast. NewsON has around 250 local news outlets from around the country in 150 different markets and they're always looking to add more. One of the best parts is it's 100% free and you don't even have to sign in or make an account. If you're a cable cord cutter like I am and you miss having your local news and an antenna just doesn't work in your area or if you wished you could watch your local news on demand give NewsON a try I think you'll really love it like I do.

Not a good first experience with an app. Was hoping that the company learned from the Roku app weakness and built upon | improved in the new GCWGTV app. Guess not. Pain points: • Ads still way louder than the content (news) your watching • In the breaks there are too few ads. Thus, the screen goes blank for a long time. Makes you wonder if the app crashed or if the TV turned off. • Picture quality not so hot. Have 300 MB internet, but the picture quality on newson is still grainy & pixelated. **Program Details: KUSI San Diego news. **Context: Can watch KUSI news on VUIT app without the pain points. Looks like uninstall of newson is in order.

I liked it better before. I'm sure I will get over what I find now to be the confusing redesign. but the commercial breaks are too long andfor now they are sometimes playing in the wrong place
