I recently subcribed to the digital version of the Journal Star. I downloaded the app about 2 weeks ago and haven't had any problems of app crashing or not loading (referred to in several reviews). User interface is great after a bit of practice. I didn't think it would be so easy to flip through pages and read articles. Almost feels like you are reading the paper. Virtually everything in the paper is in this app, including Obituaries, Letters to the Editor, Comics, and Ads.

The app crashes on my tablet every time I use it. Have to restart it 1-2 times at every use. Frustrating. But I do like being able to expand the picture/article. Sometimes the arrows work, sometimes they don't. I do like receiving the paper on the tablet; you never know if you'll have a good delivery person, or not.

This app is pretty bad. You really never know what article is going to come up when you click on a link. You can usually get what you wanted to read eventually, but it's very unreliable. For example, this happens to me all the time. I'm looking at an image of the front page. I click to read an article, I'm presented with something from yesterday. This app is either poorly designed or poorly implemented.
