The game has SO much potential but the simulation aspect is just horrible. You can't control defense at all and sometimes an opponent can score 2-3 times in a row and you'll only possess the ball once or twice in a match and it's completely out of your control. The difficulty isn't balanced whatsoever. "Easy" and "normal" provide very little competition and "hard" is an enormous step up with no middle ground at all. Such a shame for a game with great graphics and so many real clubs to pick from

Retro Goal is honestly one of the easiest and most fun soccer games to pick up. The controls are super simple and smooth, so you don’t need to be a pro to start scoring goals right away. I like how everything just feels natural when you pass, shoot, and move players. On top of that, it’s free, which makes it even better. I can just hop on anytime and have a good time without stressing. Definitely a 5-star game for me.

The game is fun and has a lot of potential, but there are a lot of flaws. The first thing is the missed chance. I understand keeping the game simple by only playing offense, but there will be times where the ball is kicked to half field and im booted off of offense, and other times where the exact same thing happens but the game continues. It's very inconsistent and annoying. Next is the money grab. It's only 99 cents, but to force you to buy the "career mode" to continue the game is frustrating.
