About this app

RxLocal is an easy-to-use app that allows pharmacy customers to manage their entire family’s prescriptions, communicate with the pharmacy via secure messages, order refills, set medication reminders, and find pharmacy location information.

Creating an account is easy. Just enter your last name and date of birth, along with any existing prescription number. Then, simply add all of your family members to your account for quick and easy access to all of their prescriptions.

RxLocal is a free app for Android users. There is no charge to download or use the app.

Ratings and reviews

The app worked great, and then it doesn't work. It will close automatically and say it has a bug. Wait to use it again after the developer does a fix... please fix this!!!! Update from June... after the app developer said that they may have had a security breach and to create a new password, it worked for a week, and then it went back down again. It will not open the app. And yes, I have cleaned the cache, uninstalled, and reinstalled. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR APP!!!

UPDATED 9/16/24: Ever since we were forced to reset our passwords, I am prompted to reset again every time I open the app. I reset the password 3 times, but it still does this. If I delete the password and re-enter it, it will let me log in. But I shouldn't have to do that constantly, especially because it has to download my info again each time. 10/20/22: I'm still annoyed at all the useless pages. There are lots of filler screens telling me what is going to be on the next screen. Pointless.
