dLibrary Japan is a subscription on-demand service providing Japanese programs with proper content rights for US & Canada. With unlimited access to Japanese programs, everyone in the family can enjoy quality Japanese contents including the latest Japanese dramas, hit movies, popular variety shows, children’s programs, anime, and more. Select drama and movie titles include English subtitle.

App features:
-Watch select episodes free before signup.
- Select programs are available with English subtitle. Go to the menu and select "English Subtitled" or “English CC”(Closed Caption) .
- Cast from your phone or tablet to your big screen (also available in Apple TV and Roku)
- Stream programs at the same time on upto two devices.

Content and feature availability on dLibrary Japan app are only available in US and Canada.

Your subscription automatically renews unless cancellation is made before the end of the current subscription period. Google Play Store will charge monthly subscription automatically at the same price until service is canceled.

Subscribed last month and I'm quite satisfied so far. Great selections of shows and it seems like it's growing. Some shows have english subs but not all but I personally don't need them, but be warned if your Japanese is not yet advanced. I also have a problem casting to chromecast, but they sent an email today saying they're working on it. App doesn't work on my tablet (the app works, but the video is all black) but works perfectly on my phone and laptop. All they need now is live Japanese TV!

Three months after users reporting issues and still can't cast properly to Chomecast. The show will restart from the beginning after about a minute. It has worked before (and had issues before years ago) but it seems these issues go back several months without being addressed. Why hasn't this been repaired yet? I restarted my subscription to not be able to use it.

This app and online player have quite a few features that need to be added to make the user experience better and worth the monthly fee: 1. Smoother casting from app. Lags badly. 2. App doesn't always play videos. 3. Video forwarding and backwards. 4. Episode forwarding. 5. Playback when you leave and return to an episode. 6. Subtitles on or off.
