Asus zenfone 2 Phone has active fm chip but does not work with the app. It was kind of disappointing to have to connect to wifi to find this out. Waiting on response from asus...
Want it to work. Verizon customer of course will not work. Does not use enough bandwidth for additional charge. One more consideration for dumping Verizon. 3 stars for effort though. 5 if Verizon quits trying to limit customer capabilities.
Help? So, you said that it would work on new phones... I went out and bought a s6 active (new) and still won't work (at&t)
Don't waste your time I downloaded the app and got radio stations, plugged in my headphones but I could not hear any music! I'm uninstalling it!!
Loved it The first time I tried the app I just couldn't stop using it. I still use it till today. Who needs to buy sings when you can listen to them for free on the radio. Not only do I love the radio stations. I found new radio stations that have song I like too. This is just a great app.
Lied to by app developers The Free FM app people said that this app would work, as it would activate the FM radio chip inside my Samsung tablet, because they said that all these tablets have the FM chip inside them, and the radio would work with their app. Not true. FM Radio chip IS NOT activated by ANY software app, and since my tablet has no Cell phone chip inside, there is NO carrier to activate it, so this app is completely WORTHLESS.
- New custom tablet layout!
