It's generally quite a good launcher and certainly much preferable over the stock Android one, by virtue of not using the "multiple screens full of icons" layout. However, there are some issues: - I occasionally get the "grant launcher 10 notification permissions" dialogue box even though the permissions are already granted - I wanted to buy the Live Tile feature, but somehow the option in the preferences is greyed out. Also, I hope that buying the live tiles will also remove ads - the app isn't clear on that. - The UI can be overly complicated at times. For example, using the "edit" option for a tile actually opens a menu that includes both the preferences for the tile, as well as global preferences for the start screen. There is no clear visual distinction between the two sets, aside from the global stuff being further down, and these global things cannot be accessed from the actual preferences menu of the launcher. Case in point, I was complaining about there not being Windows 7/8/8.1-style options for the launcher, but I'm seeing them among the screenshots on this page right now. I will have to search for these options again. - There is no way to scroll in widgets. Might be useful if you could double-tap to focus a widget tile, which would expand it slightly and allow you to send it scroll events as you would on the stock launcher, by scrolling with one finger. - The launcher itself is somewhat slower to load after pressing the home button than the default one. My phone is a Unihertz Jelly Pro. Maybe Android is weird with addon launchers and loads them from eMMC instead of having them ready in RAM or something dumb like that. If this can be improved by the app's developers, I hope it will be. And now for some things I'd like to have: - There is no way to mix widgets and live tiles. I'd like to have a tile for an app that displays the contents of its widget, but will take me directly to the app when tapped on instead of doing whatever the widget would do. This is useful for K9-Mail, for example, because the app has a widget that has no button for opening the actual app. Neutral: - The system stuff of android (the tray that you could pull from the top, for example) is not affected by this app, but I assume that that's a limitation of Android's APIs.

This is by far the best windows phone simulation. The feeling is quite similar and the live tiles work just great. I don't mind buying the live tile feature since it's hard work. 4/5 due to some bugs and crashes which occur. After a crash you have to go back into settings and set the app as your home screen again.

I really like it and will probably buy it after the trial period. The live tiles really make me feel home again. I just feel the animation speed is too slow. Is this a 500ms animation when tapping things? I'd rather like to see the animations in 300ms like on windows mobile. A tad snappier... Edit: from time to time I have to disable/enable notification permissions to work. That's getting a bit annoying as it happens 2-3 times a day.
