About this app

The new NGC App gives coin collectors access to some of the most popular research tools developed by NGC, the world’s largest third-party coin grading service. This free app includes the popular Verify NGC Certification resource, an optimized NGC Census and the latest NGC news.

Simply scan the barcode on an NGC label with your phone’s camera to verify the NGC holder and quickly view NGC Census population data as well as NGC Price Guide values for US coins. Images are also displayed for nearly 15 million NGC-certified coins.

If you join or login with a free NGC account, you can browse an optimized version of the NGC Census, which displays population data for NGC-certified coins by type and grade, including NGC Details grades. Updates are posted every week.

You can also stay informed with the latest NGC news articles, delivered to the app as soon as they are published. Sign up for push notifications to be among the first to know about an NGC announcement.

This used to be a great app. Now it is horrible. Values, most of the time are no longer listed. Especially when using scan. Photos disappear on hundreds of my coins. When you search coins by date there very many listed that are the wrong date. What is going on????. When paying about $300 a year you would things would get better not worse. Also with the millions of coins graded by them every year, its not a lack of cash problem. Once my subscription runs out I will not be renewing it. Very sad!!

I really like NGC, and been using them for years, but today, I tried logging in the app, and for some reason, it won't let me log in so I have to go to my browser and log in and I have no problem that way. Not sure what the issue is but I hope it's fixed soon cause I've sent a submission in for grading and wanna be able to go to the app and check the status there and not have to go to the browser to check things or see my registry set. So because of this, I have only left 3 stars.

Every Screen Needs "Scan Coin" especially adding to your own collection. If no pic, it won't let you take one!!! Absolutely useless in this regard!!! Either photo every coin graded or don't bother. It will not let you browse files on Google drive (I don't save to a photo album NGC). I have over 100 coins registered at NGC. This critique is coming from a person invested in your platform. If the app is a glorified web page, don't bother submitting on the Android platform. What a pain !!!
