With Your local Hero you get digital tours from locals and do them when and with whom you want. In addition to highlights of the region, you will also experience corners where the locals are. You get background knowledge and get to know the area as if you had a friend there who tells you what to discover and how to find your way around.
HOW EXACTLY WORKS
What do you like to do? Hike? Be out and about with your dog? Do you want to spend a relaxing day or do you want to go on a half-day excursion?
Just choose the tour that suits your needs.
Do you want to know in advance who is creating your tour? No problem at all, your local hero has already introduced himself.
HOW A TOUR LOOKS LIKE
On the map you can see the stops of the tour, with the playlist you get the background music for your day (on Spotify), the photos give you an impression of what to expect and help you with orientation. If you want to turn somewhere or stay longer, it continues with "Where we meet again". You can use the menu to navigate within the text.
Tips on transport and parking spaces as well as background information and interesting facts ensure that you will find your way around easily.
WHAT CAN THE APP
Explore takes you to the tours, filter by region, topic or local hero.
You can find your settings in the account.
Community is the area where you can exchange ideas with others. Show your best vacation pictures, tell others what you experienced on your tour or ask questions - this is the right place for it.
Notifications shows you your messages such as Coupons, promotions, new releases, etc.
Weather shows you the temperature and prospects at your holiday destination.
