Welcome to the world of Ingress Prime, Agent. The fate of this universe, and perhaps others, depends on you. The discovery of Exotic Matter (XM), a resource of unknown origin, has sparked a covert struggle between two Factions. Cutting-edge XM technologies have completely transformed the Ingress Scanner, and it is now waiting for you to join this battle.

BATTLE FOR CONTROL
Dominate territories by linking Portals and creating Control Fields to achieve victory for your Faction.

WORK TOGETHER
Strategize and communicate with fellow Agents in your neighborhood and around the world.

Agents must be over 13 years old (for residents outside of the European Economic Area); or over 16 years old or such age needed to consent to the processing of personal data in the Agent's country of residence (for residents of the European Economic Area). Unfortunately, no children may play Ingress.

Ratings and reviews

No other game has made me get outside to explore my neighborhood and my province more! I really enjoy the faction vs faction competition. It is so much more than a player grinding away increasing their level. Niantic breaking scanning functionality in all but newest phones reduced from 5 to 2 stars. Many months later and still broken. Not happy I had to upgrade my phone to even play. Pixel7 is very snappy. +1 star for making new phones work better.

Great game which makes you explore the world. Love the concept of capturing portals, linking them and creating fields using portal keys. But there's still room for improvement. The relation between local players can be bad. (Like someone on the opposite team writing on COMM and just straight up saying bad things to us). The game has potential for a lot of new features which can be added into the game. Game also happens to be really slow which is not good. Otherwise, great game :)

Any game that gets me out of the house every day for a year deserves 5 stars. Update: been playing this for a long time and there has been some development, it seems like it is low low priority to keep this game interesting....glad they removed the red faction stuff...it was a real barrier to play for casual players or in cities where there wasn't much happening
