Welcome to the world of Ingress Prime, Agent. The fate of this universe, and perhaps others, depends on you. The discovery of Exotic Matter (XM), a resource of unknown origin, has sparked a covert struggle between two Factions. Dominate territories by linking Portals and creating Control Fields to achieve victory for your Faction.

WORK TOGETHER
Strategize and communicate with fellow Agents in your neighborhood and around the world.

Agents must be over 13 years old (for residents outside of the European Economic Area); or over 16 years old or such age needed to consent to the processing of personal data in the Agent's country of residence (for residents of the European Economic Area). Unfortunately, no children may play Ingress.

Ratings and reviews

Update 2023. In 2018, it had bugs, a poor UI, other overall issues. Now it's slightly improved. But baffling: the storage system is still clunky with a swipe system that makes quick selections difficult. Still a lack of quick swipe hack. Game just feels slower to play when it's a real time game. Interestingly, the upgraded graphics, while cool, doesn't fit well with the setting. The old limited scanner felt more cyberpunk than this one. It's not as immersive anymore.

Haven't played in a while and decided to pick it up again. Upon loading my profile, I have to once again do the tutorial for some stupid reason, and during the capturing a portal with a resonator part, it glitches out over and over again to the point I can't even continue, thus making me stuck in the stupid tutorial, which I SHOULDN'T even have to do again. It SHOULD be able to look at my profile, SEE that I've put tons and tons of hours into this game, and not FORCE me to do the tutorial, AGAIN

I've loved Ingress for over 2 years now. I just don't like this major overhaul to Ingress Prime. The menus used to make sense and be easy to navigate. Now they're randomly placed bubbles? In addition, the new graphics are a little minimalist. I feel like the Ingress world is a lot less engaging now. Lastly, the zoom is infuriatingly precise, going all the way out or in with just a minor swipe, and the change from a diagonal view to an overhead view is something that should be separate from the zoom setting. Tl;dr: this game is still fun, but a lot of major changes came all at once, and it doesn't feel right anymore.
