Welcome to the world of Ingress Prime, Agent. The fate of this universe, and perhaps others, depends on you. The discovery of Exotic Matter (XM), a resource of unknown origin, has sparked a covert struggle between two Factions. BATTLE FOR CONTROL
Dominate territories by linking Portals and creating Control Fields to achieve victory for your Faction.

WORK TOGETHER
Strategize and communicate with fellow Agents in your neighborhood and around the world.

Agents must be over 13 years old (for residents outside of the European Economic Area); or over 16 years old or such age needed to consent to the processing of personal data in the Agent's country of residence (for residents of the European Economic Area). Unfortunately, no children may play Ingress.

Ratings and reviews

You can explore new places while you travel. That was my favorite part of playing this game and now the UI has changed and most everyone I know including myself has stopped playing for this reason. I played for years all over the world and I went up to faction wars like a convention where we take over a city. Those were the good old days! But seriously this new UI destroyed the game and the community that I was a part of just keep shrinking. Great u have a comic and a Netflix show. It's cool.

Edit3: Dec 2024 update massively improved performance!! Edit2: the bug where the game 'forgets' account data every day or 2 seems to keep returning after being fixed for many months!! Revised down to 2 stars Edit1: niantic have released a few updates: it's still slow to start, but now the game runs smoothly if no other apps running (Chrome, SoundCloud,etc) & if Bluetooth is OFF. Original: Recently returned after a couple of years away but the game is quite slow even on mid-range phones.

Before Pokémon Go, there was..... INGRESS, is still fun 10+ years later. Just picked it back up, not a huge fan of the micro transactions and what not now but it is what it is, gotta keep it running somehow. I personally like earning my rewards than buying them. Looking for ways to get healthy as a gamer? Play this frequently, great exercise, cool people etc. Choose a faction and get out there!

What’s new

• We are removing Niantic Campfire and the Niantic Profile, and temporarily disabling Portal nominations, in order to get Ingress ready to move to Niantic Spatial.
