DONCA is a peer-to-peer ridesharing marketplace. Someone already driving from Viña del Mar to Santiago posts their spare seats; anyone needing to make the same trip reserves one and pays before getting in.
We're not a transportation service: it's people sharing a trip they were going to take anyway, and the contribution covers the cost.
KNOW WHO YOU'RE TRAVELING WITH
We verify identity by comparing the selfie with your ID. Your profile picture is that same selfie, so the person who opens the car door for you is the one you saw on the app.
NO MONEY IS EXCHANGED IN THE CAR
You pay within the app, and the driver receives their full contribution when the trip ends. Before paying, you see three lines: trip price, service fees, and total. No surprises when you confirm.
VIEW THE TRIP LIVE
Route, position, and estimated arrival time while the trip is in progress. And you can share the tracking with someone you trust: they can open it in their browser, without installing anything or registering.
NO ONE BOARDS WITHOUT A WORD OF MESSAGE
Boarding is validated with a QR code that both driver and passenger scan upon boarding. If the camera malfunctions, there is a backup code.
YOUR RECEIPT, BY EMAIL
Each payment generates an electronic receipt, which you receive as soon as it is confirmed.
