This application can be used as a companion to the mdottraffic.com website. At mdottraffic.com, users can configure alerts related to their preferred driving routes. Text, email or push notifications can be enabled to notify users of traffic alerts on their home, work or school routes.

Ratings and reviews

It's a cool app in theory lol. The execution just isn't great. The app crashes A LOT. I often have to uninstall and re-download so I can use it. When I say it crashes a lot I mean as soon as it is opened. A LOOOOT of the cameras are down/unavailable pretty frequently. It would be nice if we had more cameras and not just down the interstate exits.

Had this app for a year now and have not gotten one alert. The only way I can find out about an accident or road conditions is open the app and then maybe it may have some info. I get more up to date info by just signing up for the local info from the cities. Not a good app at all update 09Dec2025. If I could give this app 0 stars I would. it has not given one alert to me, even though there have been many accidents or delays on my travels. I would open the app and see if there was an alert. none

This app works as soon as it is installed but once it is closed, and I try to re-open it, it immediately closes. My phone even states "this app has a bug and needs to close". It has to be Uninstalled and re-downloaded to be of use. Fix that, and we can try again for a better rating.
