Works great Used the old app and was very happy with it. The update was a bit strange at first but soon got used it. Wouldn't go back to the previous version now, very happy with this. The added analysis is useful and heart rate monitor is a bonus, got a cheap ($25) bluetooth unit from aliexpress and it hooked straight up.
Doesn't inspire me to run anymore I think it's good to update an app and introduce new features but they shouldn't have completely re-done it. And a bad re-do at that. The interface has basically copied Addidas train and run and it doesn't even work properly - thus sacrificing one of the best features of the app: competing against your friends and winning awards. GOOD ONE NIKE GOOD ONE
Ruined by the new version The previous version Nike+ was working great, also together with smart watch Gear S. But after the forced upgrade to version Nike+ Run Club the app is working very poor and is no longer working at all in the Gear S. Thanks for ruining a great app. I have now left Nike+ and am using Endomondo instead. This is a perfect example of how to loose customers.
Few things Love love the new version. The training program is amazing that it adapts to your goal runs! Something that would be helpful is after you share your run that you have a finish button and that takes you back to your activities. I may be wrong but only way to get back too hit the back button 5 times. Just a suggestion.
Worst update I was previously able to use this app on my Samsung Gear S2. Since this app has drastically changed about a month ago, I can no longer use it with my watch, I can use it on my phone. This wouldn't be so bad, except the mileage is way off. As much as I would love to run a 9 minute mile, this app is calculating miles way too quickly. I went running with a friend and she used my garmin while I turned on the Nike app, the Nike app was about a half mile ahead of the Garmin, which has ALWAYS been accurate.
Great app Its a good update. The app is much more interactive and functional and the new layout is amazing. The only problem I have with it is that nike run clubs arn't really active on a global scale. If they want to incorporate this new feature en gros, I suggest nike takes care of its running clubs more on a global scale
