Needs work I started using app post update so can't so how it has changed (apparently a lot). The features are good especially using the fitness program alongside it. It's really pushing me. Downsides. GPS is a little on off. Don't have problem with other apps. Would prefer more in run feedback like pace to help me push myself I'm going to buy a running watch so will re review after I use app in conjunction with watch. In all its a good, more importantly totally free app
Update is useless please bring old app back After new update I can't compere my weekly and monthly runs with my friends, don't think the gps is accurate. Very simple to use and you can easy keep track of your runs and progres, doesn't try to sell upgrade every 5 minutes what is great. Would be even better you could check your ascent/altitude and connect to your heart rate monitor. Still 5 star, didn't crashed even once. I used map my run, runastic and endomondo before.
Gear s2 had yet to be updated Ever since the new updates (several months ago) in unable to use the Nike running app on my Samsung gear s2. It'd be nice if they could update it because I can't use the app now without using my data. Since I run most days, that adds up. I love the app but would rather use my watch as opposed to running with my phone. When will this update take place??
Pretty good app, but needs Android Improvement App is pretty cool-- tracks runs, etc. Isn't 100% accurate, so I have to edit many runs, especially if I'm indoors. Lacks a lot of Android support. Can't integrate Spotify via Android (just Google Play), but can with Apple. I know it's Nike+ Run, but Cycling option should be added too
Good but not great I do like some of the new features. Specifically the coach plan and how easy it is to be flexible with your schedule. I don't like, and maybe I just can't figure it out, only having pace information read to me at the halfway mark of the distance. I want to know before I hit two miles what my pace is... in the settings just have it set to every half mile but when doing a run on my coaching plan that doesn't work.
It was superb until.. I had to do the "Speed run", took a couple of discard runs to understand how to begin, I recommend adding an audio guide or a beep signal and a warm up run. It wasn't clear how the reps changes and how long of a break should I take between reps, and if to run at a slow pace or walk between. Was really confusing. Other then that the app is great.
