Though I like the app and use it each time that I run to track my progress and achievements, this app occasionally fails to track my runs after I start the app! Or I may lose my run data without my canceling the run. I use my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with the app, but cannot sync this app to my Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch. For such a sync to work with a runner's app, I must use the Samsung Health app. I wish that I could use my smartwatch with Nike ++ Running app, instead of having to use my larger smartphone, for more comfort and convenience.
If you are serious about tracking your runs, this is NOT the app for it. This is actually a secret physiologically test to see how broken an app can be before users abandon it. Just look at the amount of complains about the app! The latest update prevented users from finishing a run. A big improvement in mind games as compared to the last update where runs were simply not recorded. I don't understand the complains with 5 star ratings? You like how lousy the app is?
Everything seemed well, until I've noticed that the 5th km I ran with average pace of 2 minutes when previously I had 5 minutes per km. This error was just too big, I wasn't even close to such a pace. So now I'm worried how accurate this app actually is. Could be just a good guessing algorithm? I need some precision!))
I'm having problems with the last update. I set up a new plan and the app doesn't build it for me, it says that there's a connection error. I've tried many times but it's annoying me because I can't do anything even if I want. I also did an audio guided run but it doesn't appear on my activity. I rather go back to the previous version.
What is happening? The past week is like I am ready for the Olympics or something.. The GPS is like I am doing many more kilometres than I really do and the pace is also crazy! Yesterday showed me that I run 3.37 per kilometre and I am sure that it was a 7.30. You better stop the updates..
I enjoy the custom programs for training to give an idea of where I should be. Only issue I can find is when calculating custom runs, changing the distance automatically changes the pace and distance. I eventually figured out that you had to clear all the fields in order to get the app to not automatically calculate. A bit of a hassle, but manageable.
We are excited about this update. We hope you like it.
