It's much better than it used to be, for a start. However, my run occasionally ends when I switch out of the app (to a different one). Once I reopen and start the run, however, it goes right back to where I stopped, so that's good. It's just a minor inconvenience. I love the coach plans and i only have one qualm with them: when rescheduling your runs you should have the option of moving runs between weeks (especially from Sunday to Monday). Other than that it's an excellent app and lives up to expectations.
Awesome!!! In love! Obsessed!! Great motivator if you love challenging yourself!! ---- this is how I felt BEFORE the updated version!! Wth has happened to this app? Why can't I just share my run to FB without having to add a picture? Its as though all apps want to become SnapChat or something. Everything doesn't need a picture!!! The entire layout is different and much less user friendly.. Its become complicated for noooothing. Bring Nike + Running app back vs. Nike Running Club. Or AT LEAST give users the option to continue to use the OLD/better version.
I love this app. Never been a runner and started using this app to prepare for my first 10k run. Followed the offered plan accurately and completed the race with great for the beginner results (avg pace 8.49/mile). But! There is one recommendation specifically for the speed run - its really inconvenient that you need to track yourself how much you ran and manually pause the run for rest time. That would be great if the app would inform you that its rest time, pause the run automatically and go back on for the next speed run interval. (Partially like the benchmark, it says with countdown when you need to speed up and again when its cool down time). Looking forward to app updates.
Great running app. GPS tracking seems very accurate, I love the leaderboards. Keeps me motivated trying to stay on top over my mates. However it can be twitchy and it doesn't play well if other apps are on as well. Tends to crash if I am tracking on fitbit as well. It would need to be totally stable to get 5 stars
Tracks everything perfectly. And the fact that it is free makes it even more remarkable. Unlike runtastic it will talk to you the whole time and whenever you ask it your current rate (without paying). Though it doesn't show elevation I have found this app to be my favorite and most useful for self motivation.
Great app with minor bugs to be fixed. The old app had much better GPS stability. This version either presents an uninterpretable star pattern tafter my run kr only logs a portion of my run. You must fix GPS issues. Coming onboard to the new app from the old my old shoes did not carry over so my km tracking on my shoes is now way off. Also, after running a run and choosing to update my coach for the following week, I'll have lost the run I just completed which really sucks. Other than this, this app is great: motivational achievements, voice feedback, run log, shoe log, personalised free training makes this app stand out from others. The social media aspect seems like an afterthought though with no truely meaningful functionality...
