Sometimes the coach training doesn't record the run if your quickstart program has run data on it. For example, last quickstart I ran 7km, and my coach program said 10km which I press start to run for, but it will guide me through a 7km run instead. Also if I have a program in NTC app, the NRC app will over ride the NTC program and I'll lose my data one week but then it will come back another week, hope this helps your UX dept. Other than that I love NRC and would give 5 stars it's the best run app and I'll use it regardless the bugs
I've only tried this app once. I ran my usual 9km around the local lake in just under an hour, but this app reported my run as 12km. Poor GPS signals have never been so inaccurate in other apps. Will try it again, but I'm disapponted so far. Used it on a Galaxy Note FE with up to date Android.
I'm enjoying this app. It's easy to use and it's fun exploring different guided runs. There are some kinks, though. After pausing a guided run and starting back up, you can continue tracking your speed and miles, but the audio of the guided session won't start back up. Also having trouble ending a session. I end up having to just close the whole app. Could be a great app I'd use and pay for if the kinks were worked out.
I am a highschool track and cross country runner, and this app changed me as a runner. This app is simply amazing. Great workouts, easy to navigate, and great motivation. This app helped me love running again, and helped further my career in cross country and track. I think every runner should have this app! Heck it's free! I mean dadgum, there's not any running apps this good for free! Usually you'd have to pay a lot of money. So again, if you are a runner you need this app!!
Reliable, with timely updates. Unobtrusive. Seamlessly syncs with wrist monitors and music apps. Good, no nonsense community ( mostly ). Haven't had it crash on me since the last update. Logs everything. And the UI is on a different level altogether. Legit makes it fun to get back to the app in the evenings. P.S. : The guided run module needs work. A short video of Kenyans actually running fartlek might be more instructive than just the voice coach. Show me how it's done, but don't tell me what to do; let me run my own way. Rated : 8.5/10 ; edit 23.2.2016: after trying quite a few times to update my profile pic, I had to give up n make a new account. That hurts.
The personalized plans are awesome. The trackin is acurate, when the screen is on. However since the samsung s8 oreo update (today) the app is freezing or extrem slow. Please check fast because my next planned running is tomorrow. Futhermore i miss the possibility to give feedback in the app. Thanks i'll change the score when the above is fixed.
