Pretty bummed. I bought the d3400 with the understanding I could download this app for the convenience of the auto transfer feature. I own a business and it's helpful when on the go and needing quality images. Sadly like those before me, the camera states connected to my Samsung Galaxy Note 5, but the phone returns a failed pairing message. May need to look for other options unfortunately.
I am 15 and I finally got a new camera. I currently own the Nikon d3400 and I love it. I would really love to be able to get my photos on my phone so I can share them. I have snapbridge on my old phone (galaxy s4) and it worked perfectly. I now have a Samsung j3 edge and it does not work at all. I unpaired it with my old device and I tried downloading the app several times. I tried going to go to the help button but it won't work. I am really disappointed.
What have you done to it?! Worked fine-ish before but since a couple of days ago the lay out has changed a little amd I can't seem to get it to connect. It says it's downloading photos, but none are? Wasted so much time trying to get this to work. Please fix or go back to how it was at least
Can't connect my D5600 to my phone using wifi it requires only Bluetooth though it has a wifi capability. It connects only to wifi after being connected from Bluetooth. And photo transfer takes ages. Literally sucks. No option in D5600 to switch wifi on or off. This app needs a hell lot of work and the D5600 needs a firm ware update for wifi. Hope to see an update soon. Also why to use both Bluetooth and Wifi both together huh?????? This App states in Note: Both Bluetooth and Wifi should be on. If both on how are you going to save batter even if u use low power Bluetooth. Rethink and redesign this app.
Love the idea. I really want it to work for me, but sadly it is not. I have Nikon D3400 and the camera says it connected right after I go throigh the process but my phone (Galaxy S6) does not connect and sends a failed message. I have tried uninstalling redownloading disconnecting blutooth rebooting my phone. Nothing worked I am very disappointed
Everyone says this app doesn't work or has problems but when connecting just keep trying and restart camera and app and try again and in different ways. This app is AMAZING it links my photos straight to my phone and if you enable the settings also to Google photos. Easiest thing of my life to share photos this app is AMAZING and I don't know what I'd do without it
Changed some of the user interface and some messages.
The method for linking to online help has been improved.
All auto link functions (auto download, uploaded location, and synchronize clock) can now be turned on or off together.
This allows these settings to be turned off when not in use, reducing the drain on the battery in the smart device.
Improved the reliability of the connection to the camera and fixed other bugs.
