Has some incoveninces It's my SMS app of choice, but it needs some improvements. 1) long press should never lead to a straight deletion dialog. Instead, it should lead to selection. 2) new message button should be aligned bottom-right, not center, and a simple + sign will do. 3) needs to implement a colored statusbar for lollipop devices 4) settings should not be dropdown, it should be a menu with submenus 5) the indentation for user name in the left sidebar is weird, does not fit the app overall; should be changed
Great idea Use it as my default sms, needs 2 things for me so far though - voice to text & something in the upgrade options
A couple bugs The only issue I have is receiving video mms message. They show as a blank message and I have to temporarily reset default messaging app to Samsung messaging to even see that it is a video. 2/2/2014 update: The past week or so, I can only send short text messages. Anything more and they error, so I have to copy and paste and delete to break up simple 3 or 4 sentence texts. I love the HoverChat app, but this is a killer for me. Texts are supposed to be quick and easy.
Tried this because.. It reminded me of facebook messenger. I love the idea of chat bubbles. I have no complaints for now. Keep up the good work. (update: It's gotten a bit slow as of recently)
Updated review. Decided to give this app another shot. Something that I would like to point out is that this app does take a little bit longer than usual to receive and send text messages. Also, when floating chat head is displayed, it does lag a bit when you move it around.
Good not great I have used this app for about 6 months. It's a big improvement on my stock HTC texting app but it's a little buggy. The most obvious annoyance is when you click a notification and it opens to the wrong conversation. This happens all the time and needs to be fixed asap!
